It seems that Spring has come 'on the dot' of March 1st..! Amazing...I KNOW!! Too often this early splendid Spring lulls both people and animals into a sense of false hopes and security, only for blizzards to quickly follow. But as long as the sun is shining (and 'yes..' there is still a pretty hefty NIP in the air) I'm making the most of getting out, tilling the soil and preparing the ground for this year's mega vegetable and herb planting session. Something about fresh veg and herbs that is hard to beat when cooking up something tasty in the kitchen!! So here's a little 'taster' from the garden today...
Music background is from Vivaldi's Four Seasons (the Spring movement - coincidentally not).

BRAVO Sir Paddy!!! This is PERFECT for the Spring season a-startin'. I absolutely LOVE this, the music is beautifully suited (no pun intended) for it too. Thank you for making this Victory Garden video for your blog, for us ALL to enjoy. It is truly vintage looking indeed, right down to your font choice for the credits... At about 7:10am California, USA time on Wed. March 2rd, 2010 - I've just watched this for the first time... and you've made my day. *smile* Can't wait for more video updates on your Victory Garden as it goes and grows along through the season.
ReplyDeletebtw, your blog and its videos are so much fun... you are inspiring me to perhaps create one too!
You should do Carey, lots of roses and tea perhaps :)
