White Tie is the White Stuff in a White Wonderland...
This weather is too good to miss out on having some chilled cocktails and friends around in this frozen wonderland filled with 'the white stuff.' So the Narnia Cocktail Bar is declared open. Dress, White Tie of course!!
Thanks so much. Hope you're settling into life down South now, abit of a change to winters in NY State eh! I'm having some fun with this weather, but it does impede getting to work. Never mind,...just means I can dream up different ideas like the outdoor cocktail lounge in the snow and ice :) Have a lovely Xmas sailing over a cardboard sea :)
Lovely, lovely photos! You've definitely got some magic there in that winter wonderland of yours.
I've just started re-reading the Chronicles of Narnia (via audiobook) so it's good to know that there's a stop along the way when I need to wet my whistle :~).
What fabulous pictures here. Sir Paddy you've outdone yourself (once again), you look especially divine in your white tie and tails here for the winter wonderland cocktail a-mixing. Wow. I'll wear my full length coral with beading vintage evening gown and vintage ruched gloves and I'd like one of your delicious Ginger Rogers cocktails please... "Sleigh Bells ring, are ya list'nin'? In the lane snow is glist'nin', A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight. Walkin' in a winter wonderland..." (just sang that for all the ballroom dancers in Palo Alto on Dec 3rd at their Friday Night Dance xmas party night- no cocktails there- but plenty of foxtrots!).
What fun! Mix up a drink for me, wont you? Cheers!
