I do, maybe I'm quite a visual learner (I think I am actually), but when I listen to some music, I find images just float into my mind as if I were reading a novel and characters are created with brush strokes inside this little head of mine. So...when I listen to 'this' piece of music (which, I remember was used in an episode of MadMen of all things, with Don Draper at the centre of it), well it just creates the most amazing feelings and pictures in my mind. Unsure as to 'why,' but I'm not even going to go there, it just 'does' and I'm happy with that :)
I'm really, really getting into Debussey. Funny how our tastes change, mature and develop as we get older. Abit like with food I imagine. Things I would never have touched a few years ago, I now devour with relish.
