Smoking jackets and cockails.

Fortune favours the patient, as in my case when I was dying for a 1930's smoking jacket. Well after a long wait, along came a-dandering this little fella, and I was 'over the moon' when he settled on me!

Coupled with a vintage French beret which is so handy for just rolling up in the pocket or dunking in water when the sun is up.

So here I am on my home-built 'poop deck' overlooking my little watering hole (well it's a pond, it's not exacly East Africa - I wish!).
I realise these were taken earlier on in the year (Summer), but with the cold outside, there's something rather warming to dwell on a summery scene - well, that's my excuse today.

So armed with a cocktail, a good book, some music playing and catching the dying rays of the day's sun, it's an ideal way just to wind down - Chin-Chin!!
